Hello and welcome to Slow Release Psychology. I’m so glad you found me.

I’m not speaking from the wound—I’m speaking from the scar.

I’m both a parent and a wife to individuals living with Type 1 Diabetes. I know firsthand the weight of the midnight (sometimes all night!) alarms, the daily calculations, the invisible labour, and the emotional toll that often goes unspoken. And I bring that lived understanding to my clinical work.

At Slow Release Psychology, I offer tailored psychological support for Adults living with Type 1 Diabetes, Parents & carers navigating the emotional complexities of supporting someone with T1D, and Psychologists and mental health professionals seeking supervision while supporting clients affected by Type 1 Diabetes.

As a Clinical Psychologist, my approach blends evidence-based therapy with genuine empathy rooted in experience. I provide a space where you don’t need to explain the basics—we start where you are.

Holding Space for the Highs & Lows

Supervision for Mental Health Professionals

As mental health professionals supporting clients with T1D, we often hold the tension between clinical care and lived reality.

Supervision at Slow Release Psychology offers a reflective space to unpack the emotional highs and lows—yours and your clients’—with guidance from someone who understands both professionally and personally.

I am an AHPRA Board-Approved Supervisor. I have an interest in supporting early career psychologists. I offer supervision for Registered Psychologists, Clinical Psychology Registrars, and early career Clinical Psychologists working with adults.

Providing slow release, sustainable psychological support for the Type 1 community—because you deserve reprieve.

Steady support, when you’re ready.
